Pine Island |

The premier community
on the northern Outer Banks, north of Duck, situated along 3 ½ miles of
breath-taking shoreline. It borders approx. 5,000 acres of land preserved in
perpetuity as the National Audubon Society Pine Island Sanctuary. |

Oceanside homesites range from
15,000-32,000 square feet; oceanfronts average 30,000 square feet in size. The
community consists of approximately 300 single family homesites on 385 acres.
Central water and sewer is provided. Jogging/Bike paths are situated throughout
Pine Island. A private landing airstrip approximately 3,400 ft. allows owners
and guests to reach Pine Island quickly and conveniently. This airstrip is used
only for landing and taking off. There are no tie downs, lights, or fuel
available, and permission to land is required. |

The staffed Oceanfront
Outdoor Pool and Beach Club offers a 25-meter pool, kiddie
pool, refreshments, restroom facilities with showers, large sun and dune decks
and direct beach access. A Racquet Club with indoor, outdoor, clay and hard
surface courts is available at an additional fee. |

The
Oceanside Pool and Bathhouse is one of two pools at Pine Island which offers
refreshments, a children's play area, and grills for cookouts. There are planned
activities for children. Outdoor community tennis courts and basketball court
are located adjacent to the Oceanside pool. |
